Did you ever wish there were Facebook-style “Like” buttons in the real world? If there were, which would you push? Here are a few of mine, in no particular order or degree of magnitude, and I plan on continuing to add more as they pop up. Feel free to post your own in the comment section below – I’d love to know what makes you give a good “thumbs up”!
An empty sink and full dishwasher
Being ambushed by a hug
Finding just the right thing at just the right time, even though you weren’t looking for it
Iron on Girl Scout patches
Daughter #1 picking up Daughter #3 without being asked
Shiny clean refrigerator
My kids getting enough sleep
Seat warmers in my car
Watching my children perform
Hot coffee in the pot when I wake up
Spiked eggnog
Sleeping in on Sunday morning
where’s the “lick” button? :-P~~

Jan Larente – Chica Time!
Kelly Lane – Puppy kisses!
Jean Wilson Barnes – a purring kitten
Anne Fischer – Mail that is not junk, catalog, nor bills!
Linda Lynn Hymes – empty sink, empty dishwasher, empty laundry baskets, empty washer & dryer! Full refrigerator and pantry……
Yes! I completely agree! How crazy is it that facebook has effected us all in such a way! I find myself in so many different aspects of life just wanting to hit a “Like” button. Heck, even on internet forums, I wish I could just hit “Like” if the person wrote a great response.
But in real life, my extra special “Likes” would be snuggling with my adorable cat, having a great voice day, planning my next Disney trip, and time spent with friends and family. 🙂

I don’t use a “like” button. I keep a list, a running tally, of things to be happy about – this is a copy of my most recent.
Great list – I’m working on a “silver lining” type one at the moment, adding as I go…
